MIJ FENDER TONEQUEST REPORT JOE GLASER HARMONIC DESIGN TELECASTER165 viewsTone Quest Report took a minty 80's MIJ Fender and sent it to Joe Glaser, guitar tech to the stars in Nashville. Joe did a superb job of new frets, new nut, new chrome hardware and electronics, and Harmonic Design Vintage Plus pups. The Neck pup has the HD hand formed white plastic cover for that Esquire at 10 feet look. Joe basically turned this into a Custom Shop guitar at 1/2 the price and 10 times the playing ability... it is sooo easy to play.

DR. Z TONE QUEST REPORT Z28 410 COMBO165 viewsThe Z-28 is a 6V6 based amp. It utilizes the format of the Route 66, that is, a EF-86 pre- amp, a unique Volume, Bass, and Treble full drive tone stack, and a tube rectified power supply. The Z-28 is rated at approximately 22 watts, so it fits under the Route 66 and the KT-45. It has a more American type tone, which some have described as Brown Tolexed Deluxe. The sweet sparkle of the 6V6 is ever present, along with a smooth full distortion at a very useable volume level.

1982 FENDER '52 TELECASTER REISSUE164 viewsVintage 1952 Fender Telecaster Reissue Electric Guitar. The guitar plays well, neck is straight and the frets show minor wear, while the fret board, and entire guitar show wear and checking. The pots read, 1378005 and R1378131. There is no serial # on the neck or bridge plate of the guitar. The neck simply has TL 52 stamped at the heel, and the Bridge plate reads, Fender Pat. Pend. The switch reads, Pat. No. 2503885 Made in U.S.A. There are no other markings on the guitar.

GRECO SCREAMIN 1982 PAF PUPS163 views--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a pair of Greco Scream'in 1982 PAF style pickups with nickel covers for sale. Both measure 7.8K on my MM. Not sure what these came out of, but my guess is an early 80's MIJ Greco.

VAN ZANDT FULLERTONES163 viewsVan Zandt Strat Pickup Set with FULLERTONE and ROCK blend

This is no ordinary Van Zandt set.
The neck and middle are the SUPER RARE Fullertone series that W.L. Van Zandt wired right before he passed in 1997.
The Middle Pickup is Reverse Wound.
These where purchased from Performance Guitar - Los Angeles in 1999.

Legend has it they are made from the same wire used to rewind SRV's Number One, the wire is no longer made.

No doubt they sound great - Basically a 50's overwound. 3D with bite and warmth.

The Bridge is the overwound Rock model. Lots of output with more clarity than most at this level.
