Color detail... Hardware gets cleaned up Chrome paint on the ugly stuff Puch80 parts...about as moltley as you cn get...

Critical to get the filler hole clean for a good seal, gotta take it a section at a time. Killer chrome locing cap...thanks Rigid76! Right side was hammered...skim coat of filler will smooth it out. Rasp used for first \ After 2nd coat, 80 grit long block and 220 with small rubber block finishes the fill. Cleaned and ready to prime with self etching primer.

Prep done. A coat of high solids primer over the etching primer fills any minor flaws or scratches. Ready for paint. Primer sealer shot over sanded primer Silver lacquer base coat Silver microflakes in clear over the silver...I added some hologram flakes for giggles. 1/8\" fineline tape forms the scallop graphics, kinda retro based on the Magnum stripes...but better!
